The Collegiate Chorale, under Robert Shaw, gave its annual sponsors' concert last night at Carnegie Hall. For the event, the conductor had arranged a carefully chosen program which afforded sharp contrasts, covered a wide range of styles and featured the premiere of Peter Mennin's Symphony No. 4, "The Cycle."
