Mary Anne Huntsman, a daughter of Mary Kaye Huntsman and Jon M. Huntsman Jr. of McLean, Va. was married Saturday to Evan Borger Morgan, a son of Gloria Borger and Lance I. Morgan of Washington. Rabbi Allen A. Secher officiated at Flathead Lake Lodge in Bigfork, Mont.
Ms. Huntsman, 30, who will be keeping her name, is a concert pianist based in Washington. In June she performed with the China Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Long Yu in Beijing. She made her debut as a soloist at Carnegie Hall in January 2014. She is on the board of Foundation for Survivors of Abuse, a nonprofit group that works to support and empower survivors of sexual abuse, in Salt Lake City and New York.
Her father was governor of Utah from 2005 to 2009, the United States ambassador to China from 2009 to 2011, and a candidate for the 2012 Republican presidential nomination. He is now the chairman of the Atlantic Council, a nonpartisan foreign policy and international affairs institute, and a co-chairman of No Labels, a nonprofit group focused on problem-solving in American politics. The bride’s mother founded Bag of Hope, a nonprofit group providing emotional support to children with diabetes.
Mr. Morgan, also 30, is a partner in Revolution, a Washington venture-capital firm, where he invests in young companies. He graduated from the University of Pennsylvania.
His mother is based in Washington as the chief political analyst for CNN. His father is the chief communications strategist at Powell Tate, a public relations firm in Washington.
The couple met in New York in the summer of 2013.
