Education: Cadet College Petaro

Cadet College Petaro was the second Cadet College in the country after Hasan Abdal to be established initially at Mirpurkhas in 1957 and shifted to its present site at Petaro in 1959. It was originally designed for 360 Cadets from Classes VIII to XII. The College started functioning at Mirpurkhas with an intake of 30 cadets in 1957; which gradually kept on increasing, from time to time. At present, cadets on roll are about 800 including 25 Day-Scholars, who are sons of the College staff. Petaro is on the Right Bank of River Indus only about 30 Kilometers away from the main city of Hyderabad and we are located on the main Indus Highway.
