In 1971, Pharmavite was founded in Los Angeles, California with the belief that there had to be a better way to being healthy than relying on prescriptions.

Pharmavite is founded by Barry Pressman and Henry Burdick, who felt there was a better alternative to long term health than prescription drugs.
Pharmavite Joins CRN
Pharmavite joins the Council for Responsible Nutrition (CRN), an important trade association and lobbying group representing ingredient suppliers and manufacturers in the dietary supplement industry.
Otsuka Acquires Pharmavite
Otsuka, a global healthcare company dedicated to improving health through innovative pharmaceuticals and nutraceuticals, acquires Pharmavite.
