We are dedicated to preserving the

President's House site and the memory of the nine enslaved individuals forced to serve George and Martha Washington.

We've been nominated!

President's House Slavery Memorial is a finalist for the History Made Whole Award in Visit Philadelphia's annual awards celebration. You can vote once per day now through April 3, 2026.
