Rancho

Farhan Qureshi and Raju Rastogi join Imperial College of Engineering (ICE) in Delhi for their first year of college and meet their roommate Ranchhoddas Shamaldas Chanchad (Rancho), who is passionate about experimenting and excels in class. However, his playful approach to engineering doesn't sit well with their college director, Dr. Viru Sahastrabuddhe (known as Virus by the students). When a student named Joy Lobo commits suicide due to the extreme pressure placed on ICE students, Rancho confronts Virus but is dismissed. One night, the trio unknowingly gatecrashes Virus's daughter's wedding party and Rancho's behavior initially upsets Mona's younger sister Pia. However, she later becomes attracted to him after he pranks her materialistic boyfriend. After Pia breaks up with her boyfriend Suhas, who scolds her for wearing a cheap watch, Virus warns Farhan and Raju about their friendship with Rancho, citing their families' modest financial situations. This prompts Raju to move in with competitive and arrogant student Chatur Silencer Ramalingam, who believes in memorizing everything. To get back at Chatur, Rancho and Farhan make obscene changes to the Teachers Day speech script that Chatur has to deliver in honor of a visit by the Minister of Education. They replace chamatkar with balatkar and dhan with stan, embarrassing Chatur. As a result, Chatur challenges Rancho to see who will be more successful in ten years. The rest of the film follows the journey of three friends who tries to establish their career in a ferociously competitive world.
