Inspire students to take responsibility for improving the environment at their school, home and in their community.
ENGAGE YOUR STUDENTS IN GREENING THEIR SCHOOL
We offer training for adults, tips on starting a student-driven GreenSchools program, how to obtain equipment and collect data, and ways to empower your students to design and lead an action project that uses their STEM skills.
GREENSCHOOLS INVESTIGATIONS
Download an adult leader’s guide and a set of five Investigations to engage K-12 students in greening their school around Energy, Water, Waste & Recycling, School Site, and Environmental Quality. Our GreenSchools for Early Childhood materials specifically meet the needs of early childhood educators and younger learners.
GRANTS
After your students have conducted one or more investigations and gathered their baseline data, they’ll decide on an action project. PLT offers grants to help fund these projects.
ATTEND A TRAINING
Get help, lesson plans, and other resources to start a GreenSchools program and integrate environmental education into your school’s curriculum. To be eligible for a grant, applicants must have attended a training.
