Craving warm summer evenings with family and friends after a long Maine winter? Looking for a chance to show off your dance moves?
Luckily, there’s plenty of summer concert series and outdoor music events coming up in the Bath-Brunswick area. Here are some selections — many of them free — fit for the whole family.
L.L.BEAN’S MADE IN MAINE CONCERT SERIES
Concerts are every Saturday starting at 7 p.m. at the L.L.Bean campus in Freeport.
L.L.Bean’s Summer in the Park free event series includes activities for kids and adults, the Maine Oyster Festival, and, of course, concerts. Here’s the lineup.
June 13: Toby McAllister & the Sierra Sounds. Pop rock.
June 20: Andi Fawcett Country.
June 27: Denny Breau and Band. Country.
July 4: Don Campbell Band. Country Americana.
July 11: Lexi James and Wildheart. Country pop.
July 18: Skosh. Rock funk.
July 25: The final day includes three artists: Louisa Stancioff and Sneaky Miles (both indie-folk) and Spencer Albee & The Speed of Sound (rock/soul).

MUSIC ON THE MALL, BRUNSWICK

The Brunswick Mall will once again be alive with music on Wednesday nights starting this June. Bring your own seating, pack a picnic or order out from one of downtown Brunswick’s eateries. See more info on the Brunswick Downtown Association website. This series is free to attend.
All concerts start at 6 p.m. except Maine State Music Theatre on July 22 (5 p.m.).
June 24: Cilantro. Featuring classics current and past and originals.
July 1: The Clements Brothers. Roots, rock, bluegrass, jazz and classical influences.
July 8: JimmyJo & The Jumbol’Ayuhs. Music from Cajun Louisiana with a Downeast flair.
July 15: Pat Colwell and The Soul Sensations. Motown and Memphis soul.
July 22, 5 p.m.: Maine State Music Theatre brings Broadway to Brunswick.
July 29: Breaking Strings. Maine-based bluegrass band.
Aug. 5: Bonnie Edwards and the Practical Cats. Unique style of blues, jump swing, jazz, vintage R&B and original music.
Aug. 12: Lexi James and Wildheart. Country pop.
Aug. 19: Tiger Bomb. An all-female garage pop and rock band.
Aug. 26: Back Woods Road. High-energy bluegrass.
HARPSWELL BANDSTAND BY THE SEA
Lay out the lawn chairs and picnic blankets for Harpswell’s Bandstand by the Sea at George J. Mitchell Field. More info is available on the Harpswell town website. Free!

BATH WATERFRONT MUSIC SERIES
Bath waterfront concerts are back at the Linwood E. Temple Waterfront Park this summer. This free annual tradition is organized by the Chocolate Church Arts Center and Main Street Bath and is now sponsored by the Levitt Family Foundation. July 11, 5 p.m.: Aba Diop Trio with special guest Pan Fried Steel. Senegalese dance music featuring Yarmouth steel drum troupe.
July 18, 3 p.m.: All ages monster-making workshop with the band Monster Garden and a “monster parade” at 5 p.m. with puppets from the Chocolate Church Arts Center. The band will also lead a dance workshop at 4:30.
The Gentleman Brawlers follow with afrofunk/indie at 5 p.m.
July 25, 5 p.m.: The Bow Tides. Irish traditional.
July 26, 5 p.m.: Jamie Saft Trio in “Sunday Jazz on the Water” concert.
Aug. 1, starting at 1:30 p.m.: The second annual Cultural Crossroads Festival featuring multiple performers inspired by old time and Irish music. See schedule here.
Aug. 8, 5 p.m.: The Shadow Riders. Marshall Tucker Band cover band.
Aug. 15, 5 p.m.: Mystic Bowie’s Talking Dreads. Reimagined Talking Heads classics mixed with reggae and ska.
Aug. 22, 5 p.m.: YellowHouse Blues Band. Nine-piece band; high-energy blues and rock.
Aug. 29, 5 p.m.: Dylan Chambers & Band. Modern pop/soul singer-songwriter.

FARMYARD JAM, BRUNSWICK
July 25, 4:30-8:30 p.m. (Rain date July 26.) 30 East Coxon Road, Brunswick.
While not solely a music-focused event, this party in benefit of Growing to Give offers local bands, activities for the family, food trucks and craft beer. Attendees can also get a tour of the Brunswick farm, which grows produce for organizations that provide food to Mainers.

CLAWS N’ COUNTRY MUSIC FEST, BRUNSWICK

The third annual Claws n’ Country festival returns on July 26 at Brunswick Landing. This music festival benefits the Brunswick Naval Aviation Museum. The Band Perry is this year’s headliner. Also performing are Toby McAllister & The Sierra Sounds, Stephanie Ryann, Isaiah Bennett, Steadman’s Landing, and Travis James Humphrey. This event also promises 10 food trucks, two beer tents, local craft vendors and activities for the kids. Museum admission is free for the day.
