The development costs for numerous Call of Duty video games have been revealed in court documents, with Activision’s multi-million selling first-person shooter seeing figures reaching as much as $700 million for production.

The figures for Call of Duty Black Ops 3, Call of Duty Modern Warfare, and Call of Duty: Black Ops — Cold War have been revealed during a court filing by Activision’s head of creative for Call of Duty. According to the filing, for Black Ops 3, “Treyarch developed the game over three years with a creative team of hundreds of people, and invested over $450 million in development costs over the game’s lifecycle.”
