Deep Silver and Dambuster Studios have announced that Dead Island 2‘s Haus story expansion will launch on November 2, 2023 for PS5 & PS4.

Haus takes place in an entirely new location, with players visiting a stylish villa in Malibu which is home to a billionaire’s secret techno-death cult, with its leader, Konstantin, declaring that this is a “paragon of a new future.” Naturally, it’s up to you to prove them wrong.

Dead Island 2: Haus will introduce a bunch of new tools for players to get their hands on, including the K-ROSSBOW, which ideal for precision, long-range attacks, while the Hog Roaster allows you to literally BBQ zombies. There’s also eight new skill cards to expand your slayer’s abilities with, as well as the Dead Islands, where you can “take the weight off your shoulders whilst you smash undead enemies into oblivion.”

Haus is set in a completely new location, a mysterious and stylish villa in Malibu where the boundaries of morality are pushed to the limit.

This nightmarish location serves as both a sanctuary and as a machine to strip away flesh and harvest the soul. Players will weave through the deranged labyrinth of biomes where rational architecture is subverted by expanding narrative spaces.

Dead Island 2: Haus is due out on November 2 for PS5, PS4, PC, Xbox Series X/S, and Xbox One.
