IO Interactive has announced that it will release a physical version of Hitman: World of Assassination for PS5 on August 25, 2023.

IO Interactive announces a collaboration with Solutions 2 Go (STG), a global distributor of video games, to release a physical edition of Hitman World of Assassination for the PlayStation 5 System on August 25, 2023… Every physical copy of the game includes a set of 3 collector’s art cards, featuring artwork for the luxurious and hyper-detailed game locations.

The World of Assassination features more than 20 levels comprised from Hitman, Hitman 2 and Hitman 3, and while the PS4 release will feature a download code in a box, the PS5 edition will be a physical disc.

While we’re on the subject of Hitman, IO Interactive will continue to support the World of Assassination trilogy, but as far as a brand new game goes, the studio has admitted it’s ‘a little bit on hiatus.’
