Isabela Merced, the actress who is portraying Dina in Season Two of HBO’s The Last of Us, has said during an interview with Collider that she can’t wait for fans to witness her strong chemistry with Bella Ramsey when it finally airs early next year.

I’m so excited for people to see my chemistry with Bella. Bella and I have so much chemistry. From the first day, it was there. There’s no work to be done. I really respect Bella. I just saw Catherine Called Birdy and Bella has such range and just an honesty about their work. I’m learning so much. I’m very honored to be here.

The Last of Us Season 2 is currently filming although it is believed that Pedro Pascal, who portrays Joel, has already completed his work on the project. This would suggest that Season Two follows the early portion of The Last of Us Part 2 fairly strictly, given what we know happens to Joel.

The Last of Us HBO premiered in early 2023 and follows the events of Naughty Dog’s 2013 post-apocalyptic horror title, although it does make some changes of its own, including expanding on the role of Bill and his partner.
