Watch Dogs Legion, Rainbow Six Quarantine, and Gods & Monsters Delayed Past March 2020 - PlayStation Universe (original) (raw)
Gods & Monsters Rainbow Six Quarantine Release Dates Ubisoft Watch Dogs Legion
Three of Ubisoft’s upcoming titles, Watch Dogs Legion, Rainbow Six Quarantine, and Gods & Monsters have all been delayed past March 2020 and into the fiscal year 2020-21. But, all three will release before the end of 2020.
This news comes from a Ubisoft Conference Call via MarketScreener. They confirm that all three titles have been delayed by Ubisoft to increase development time.
That same conference call confirmed that Ubisoft’s two latest titles, Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Breakpoint and Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 both underperformed in terms of sales.
All three of these titles were originally scheduled to release before the end of March 2020. However, that window has always been somewhat unreasonable, given that we have barely seen any footage or trailers for Gods and Monsters and Rainbow Six Quarantine. Watch Dogs Legion is a different story. We have seen quite a bit of the game from its E3 reveal to a larger gameplay demonstration, as well as a showcase of how the game will utilise ray tracing.
But, the game’s ambitious ‘play as anyone’ feature makes this delay not entirely surprising. The team likely need as much time as possible to fine-tune the system and ensure people do not run into any unnecessary bugs.

The decision to increase development time for Gods & MonstersTM, Rainbow Six® Quarantine and Watch_Dogs® Legion, which will all now be released in fiscal 2020-21.
Ubisoft’s slate for the rest of the year is almost non-existent now. Just Dance 2020 is set to release in just a few weeks. But, beyond that Ubisoft have nothing releasing in the coming months. However, it is likely these delays will boost their earnings and bolster their portfolio next year.
Watch Dogs Legion, Rainbow Six Quarantine, and Gods & Monsters will all release sometime after March 2020.
