All attendees are in recovery from an eating disorder and most attendees will have co-occurring mood, anxiety, substance, or personality disorders. This is considered comprehensive DBT (mindfulness, distress tolerance, interpersonal effectiveness, emotion regulation) that includes access to phone coaching, therapist weekly professional consultation team, and required individual therapy. The goal of this group is to build skills to come to gradually replace the function of the eating disorder behaviors and move towards a value based life worth living.

All attendees are in recovery from an eating disorder and most attendees will have co-occurring mood, anxiety, substance, or personality disorders. Legacy’s Chemical Dependency Program is based upon the premise that chemical dependency is a physical, mental, social and spiritual illness. Participants engage in individual and group counseling sessions, sobriety-based recovery groups and ongoing education. Most participants attend treatment sessions on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday for 10 to 16 weeks. As individuals progress, there are step down levels of treatment to provide continued support and relapse prevention.
