Many of the people I work with are navigating burnout, life transitions, chronic stress, or changes in daily functioning. Others seek support with executive functioning, sensory regulation, motivation, or rebuilding routines that support well-being. Whether you’re adjusting to a new job, recovering from prolonged stress, struggling to keep up with daily tasks, or trying to reconnect with activities that once mattered to you— OT can help you create a life that works with your brain, not against it. I aim to create a supportive, grounded space where you can show up authentically and feel empowered to grow.

Life is really HARD! Add the stress and complications of work, family issues, and potentially old stuff creeping back up … it can be unbearable at times! I help people to help themselves through clarifying thoughts and feelings, assisting in developing insight and increasing awareness of intention. So many of us have a sense of who or what we could be, if only we could get past the hurt and some ineffective patterns that get in the way.

If you are feeling bad about yourself, your friends have noticed you are not always kind to yourself, or your self-consciousness is interfering with your life in a negative way then I can help. Negative self-talk, imposter syndrome, low self-esteem, and lack of self-confidence can interfere with how we show up in the world and ultimately hold us back from where we want to be. I enjoy working with teens and adults who are struggling to navigate these challenges, whether it's due to identity, body image, anxiety, grief or something else.

I use an integrative approach to psychotherapy, combining insight and skills-based frameworks. I help clients understand how their past experiences and relationships shaped and influence who they are now and how they experience the world (insight), and I help them develop tools for addressing current life situations and for putting that insight to work in moving their lives in the direction they want (skills-based). This approach helps clients link the past which formed them, the present they are living in, and the future they wish to experience.

I graduated with a B.A. in Psychology from Notre Dame College in 2016; And a Master of Science in Applied Psychology from Sacred Heart University in 2020. I am currently attending Bay Path University for a second Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I've worked in health care for over 25 years along with having case management, client advocacy, life coaching, reserves officer training, and private investigation experience. I understand that a one-fit-all model does not work for everyone as several factors impact an individual’s life. I believe mindfulness, integrity, and autonomy are key towards client-counseling success.

My ideal clients are ones who are willing to do the work! I have worked with folks ages 12-70 before and across different identity spectrums as well. My style is focused on walking alongside you as you author your story in your body, while also hopefully being a space that can also remind you of the different systems that are also shaping the landscape you walk.
