My clients are usually the people everyone else leans on but personally don't feel comfortable being vulnerable with others. They find it hard to express or even acknowledge their own feelings because they weren't taught how to focus on themselves. My clients are strong but need help creating boundaries so they aren't used or abused anymore. They usually have a history of rough childhood experiences they don't feel safe talking about or, don't even remember. They may not consider their past experiences as rough or worthy of discussion IE just things that happened in the past.

When your child is struggling with anxiety or OCD, it feels all-consuming. Maybe your child is constantly worried or asking for reassurance, struggles in social situations, cannot be apart from you, or has panic attacks. All this anxiety has led to increased avoidance and you worry that their world is getting smaller. Or maybe your child has intrusive thoughts and performs rituals like compulsive checking or washing. You want to protect them from distress, so you start changing family routines or avoiding places or objects that trigger their rituals. Your frequent reassurance doesn’t seem to help and the rituals only get longer.

Burnt out and overstretched by the deluge of modern life? Trying to manage doing and having it all but not sure what “it all” even means? Maybe you feel stuck - no matter how successful you may look on paper you still feel like something is missing or out of place. You’re doing the best you can right now and you’ve got a hunch that maybe life could feel better. I'm here to help you increase awareness of where your emotional patterns may be holding you back rather than helping you out. My goal is to empower you to identify the choice you have in responding to challenging emotions and experiences in ways that best meet your needs.

The power of personal narratives and story-telling dates back to our origins as human beings. We feel seen and heard when our stories are held with compassion and dignity. How would it feel to be witnessed without being pathologized? Healing is a collaborative process and I want to be a witness to your story, to your history and to your healing. Our inner-world matters as much as the universe outside of us. My aim is to explore these worlds with you and connect the different threads of your stories so you can witness yourself as whole.

I believe that everyone has the capacity for growth or change, whether it's easily identifiable or not. Sometimes this change occurs in tiny steps and sometimes it occurs in leaps and bounds. Other times it is difficult to even recognize that growth or change is possible and we may feel stuck, down, scared, confused, or frustrated. Together we will explore what growth or change may look like for you and how it can happen.
