Travis Kelce Was Moved to Tears During Taylor Swift's Concert in Amsterdam (original) (raw)

Travis Kelce, 34, getting emotional while his girlfriend, Taylor Swift, 34, sang not one, but three songs to him while performing onstage has to be my fave celebrity moment of the week.

On July 6, the “Bad Blood” singer performed on the final night of her Eras Tour show in Amsterdam. Being the supportive BF (and fanboy) that he is, Kelce showed up to cheer Swift on in the audience. During the concert, per Marie Claire, Swift sang a mashup of “Mary’s Song,” “So High School” and “Everything Has Changed.”

In a video shared by a fan on X (formerly Twitter), Kelce is recording Swift on his phone as she sings the lyrics to “Everything Has Changed,” which fans believe the “Cardigan” singer dedicated to her man. In the clip, the Kansas City Chiefs player appears to wipe tears away from his eyes, clearly touched by the heartfelt gesture.

At one point in the video, Brittany Mahomes (who is married to his Kansas City Chiefs teammate, Patrick Mahomes) walks up to Kelce, who is completely overcome with emotion, to see if he’s okay.

As I mentioned earlier, one of the songs Swift sang on stage was “So High School,” which she dedicated to her current beau. In the song (featured on the singer’s bonus album, Anthology), Swift compares Kelce to a high school jock because he is a tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs, after all.

“You know how to ball, I know Aristotle, brand new, full throttle,” the musician sings. “Touch me while your bros play Grand Theft Auto. It’s true, swear, scouts honor. You knew what you wanted, and, boy, you got her.”

She continues, “Are you gonna marry, kiss or kill me? Kill me. It’s just a game, but really, really, I’m betting on all three for us two.”
