Qt for Application Development (AD)

Qt for Application Development is a developer license used to create applications that run exclusively on desktop and mobile operating systems as one of many applications (such as email, browser, games, office apps, etc.).

The AD license can’t be used to create devices powered by Qt-based software. In addition, it can’t be used in installations where the developed software is the key component in, for example, controlling a machine, such as in a factory setup - those require a Device Creation license.

Within AD, you can choose between Professional and Enterprise depending on whether you need only the key functionalities, or a more comprehensive set.
