ARLES, 50 YEARS OF PHOTOGRAPHY ARLES, 50 YEARS OF PHOTOGRAPHY Many of the most prestigious photographers have taken part in the Rencontres d’Arles, but the list of those who were “discovered” there is also impressive. The festival aims to stay abreast of changes in the photographic image and new processes and technologies, and to offer everyone a chance to get to know the world of photography.

PREVIOUS EDITIONS PREVIOUS EDITIONS The Rencontres have always cast a light on new trends, fresh approaches and the use of cutting-edge technology in photography while giving everyone a chance to experience images.

MEDIA LIBRARY MEDIA LIBRARY Our collection of reference is a place where the words of artists and personalities from the world of photography are shared through audio, video and print documents (films about the festival program, podcasts, recordings of projections at the Théâtre Antique, debates, panel discussions and interviews, documentaries, etc.).

The Rencontres d'Arles<br>Collection The Rencontres d'Arles Collection The collection is the outcome of many of years of close collaboration and mutual trust between the Rencontres Internationales de la Photographie and the photographers whose work is shown at the festival. It now includes nearly 3,500 pictures ceded by over 470 photographers since 1976.

COLLECTION DRIVE & ALBUM COLLECTION DRIVE & ALBUM A participatory platform where anyone can upload photographs, videos, sound recordings, digitized documents (newspapers, posters, letters, etc.). Contribute to the Rencontres d’Arles album by posting your photographs and memories of the festival online. They are the archives of tomorrow and will tell a story, your story, about the festival.
