Develop your folk singing. Learn new interpretation techniques and methods. Find your own style and develop your repertoire both in this friendly group setting and in a public performance at the end of the semester.

By the end of this course, you will be able to:

Class format and activities Group exercises and vocal warm-up. Singing in front of students (in a master class format) Listening and evaluating other students’ performances.

Entry requirements To get the full benefit of this course, you must be able to sing in time and in tune. This course welcomes new and returning students.

What you need to know before registering The course includes some stretching exercises during the vocal warm-up, however, if you have mobility difficulties, just let your tutor know and they will try to provide

What you need. Music will be provided, but you will be invited to bring songs you already know to some classes if you wish.
