Shadrack and his sisters were orphaned after the death of their mother. David Tarus (and a board member of the Living Room, which cares for Flovia) took the small family in after their mother’s funeral. After graduating from Azusa Pacific University, Shadrack returned to Kenya and found work in the business field.

Stranded in Sub-Saharan Africa, orphaned by an AIDS epidemic, thousands of children are left on their own... needing a shepherd to save them.
