One of her favorite writers is Malcolm Doyle who has a cynical view of marriage. When she first meets him he's not completely honest. Her carefree sister breezes into town. As the movie progresses Jane's boss who she has a massive crush on has a meet cute with her sister Tess. George & tess after knowing each other for just a short while decide to get married. Jane of course will have to do all the planning for the wedding. After a sisterly fight Jane surprisingly sabotages her sisters pre-wedding party. The wedding is called off. As the story further progresses Jane & George see if they have any chemistry once Jane spills her guts to him about how she feels. There are no sparks. Instead she realizes she has feelings for Malcolm. It's a bittersweet romantic comedy. Definitely a chick flick. But fun to watch nonetheless.
