Critics Consensus
Smart, innovative, and thrilling, Inception is that rare summer blockbuster that succeeds viscerally as well as intellectually.
Wendy Ide Times (UK) Nolan is exploring dreams and the possibilities are endless, which is why it’s a little disappointing that so much of the film feels like a generic CGI action movie, albeit a high-class one. Mar 20, 2024 Full Review Taylor Hatmaker Autostraddle Inception engaged on a mainly intellectually level, but that isn't to say that film didn't pack an emotional impact. Jun 9, 2021 Full Review Ange Anderson Bitch Media Inception is an intriguing, frustrating film, but ultimately satisfying. Dec 30, 2020 Full Review Danilo Castro Next Best Picture Overall, “Inception” is a triumph, a perfectly oiled dream machine that can blow minds on first viewing and satisfy cinephiles on repeat viewings. Rated: 9/10 Apr 11, 2024 Full Review Yasser Medina Cinefilia It is, simply put, a cerebral masterpiece from Christopher Nolan. BRADLEY C Beverly Hills Fine Arts Theatre screened a film print of Inception. It was in excellent condition. There was only one small splice around the 2-hour mark, presumably because of prior damage. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 08/12/24 Full Review Virginia B Such a wild ride! Excellent. A multifaceted deep thinking, you must pay attention to get it, kind of movie. Highly recommended. Christopher Nolan is a genius. He must CNA theater movie. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 04/26/24 Full Review Daniel I love how Regal decided to re-premiere Nolans films each week, and I definitely had to re-watch Inception on the big screen. Im waiting for Interstellar to come back on Sep. 27 in IMAX 70mm. 10/10 both films wink wink Rated 5 out of 5 stars 04/26/24 Full Review Cody Brilliantly thought provoking, even after all of these years. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 04/25/24 Full Review Justin H 10000000000000000/10 one of the best Rated 5 out of 5 stars 04/25/24 Full Review Andrew T 2nd watch since it's inception. Pun intended. Thought-provoking, frustrating, overly complicated and intellectual. Still will always be one of my favorite movies Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/11/25 Full Review Read all reviews
