Nothing but high fives for Paul McCartney and Wings: One Hand Clapping, a rockin' documentary that peeks behind the curtains of Abbey Road to see the living music legend at the top of his game.

Peter Bradshaw Guardian There’s plenty for nostalgists and completists to swoon over -- and some hilarious incidentals, such as drummer Geoff Britton in his karate outfit busting out some martial arts moves in a spare moment. Such a pleasure. Rated: 5/5 Sep 25, 2024 Full Review Danielle Solzman Solzy at the Movies Starring Paul McCartney & Wings, One Hand Clapping has been beautifully restored and remastered... Joseph I loved the musicianship and selection of songs. I wish it had been longer. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 10/20/24 Full Review Mark F Love Paul, but poor quality film Rated 3 out of 5 stars 10/08/24 Full Review Julia Five stars. Paul McCartney never misses. And Linda was the star of the show. 🤩 Rated 5 out of 5 stars 10/07/24 Full Review Dan M Loved the time capsule of McCartney & Wings! Played some of his great post-Beatles songs: Jet, Live and Let Die, Band on the Run, and Maybe I'm Amazed to name a few. Also played some unknowns he wrote when he was 14! There was also an 'extra' of him solo on acoustic in a small yard at Abbey Road Studios including '20 Flight Rock'. There was some current day Paul talking to the audience as an intro/outro, etc. If you're a Beatles/McCartney fan...go see this film. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 10/04/24 Full Review Deborah Its Paul McCartney what more can I say?! Any fans will love this movie! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 10/04/24 Full Review Kent C It was great to see and hear Sir Paul and his band perform some of their greatest hits. I wish the producers would have invested in technology to clean up the film. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 10/03/24 Full Review Read all reviews

Synopsis Directed by David Litchfield, this film captured a moment when Paul McCartney and Wings had found and defined their signature sound. Filmed over four days at Abbey Road Studios in August 1974, the film provides an insight into the inner workings of the band as they work and play together in the studio. Including performances of tracks from Wings masterpiece Band on the Run (released in 1973), intimate footage of the band hanging out in the studio, combined with audio interview snippets, the film also includes previously unreleased in full footage of a solo acoustic performance by Paul called The Backyard Sessions. In addition to the film, this screening event includes an introduction by Paul McCartney recorded exclusively for movie theatre audiences as well as unseen Polaroids of the band.
