Roald Dahl's Matilda the Musical brings the classic story back to the screen with a delightful Emma Thompson, dazzling dancing, and a suitably irascible take on the source material.

Audience Says

Some viewers will still prefer the first film adaptation, but with catchy songs and impressive choreography, Roald Dahl's Matilda the Musical is plenty of fun in its own right.

Annie Matilda was absolutely magical! Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Sheryl L Choreography was awful. Basically the children were spearing the air with their rigid hands and almost goose stepping through gosh awful routines. Sound was blasting which obliterated most of the dialogue. 1996 film version was much more balanced and true to the spirit of Raold Dahl's original story. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 12/31/22 Full Review Len Great acting and wonderful story. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 12/25/22 Full Review L This movie musical brought me so much joy! I definitely needed it on a stressful day. I cant wait to rewatch it many times on Netflix! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 12/20/22 Full Review Amanda S It was slightly longer than I anticipated but SO worth it. Kept my child and I captivated waiting for what was next. We loved the songs so much we left singing, “When I Grow Up”. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 12/18/22 Full Review Michelle we loved this movie!!! I surprised my daughter since we both love the original movie and she loved the choreography and I loved all the emotional parts of it!! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 12/17/22 Full Review Read all reviews
