Synopsis In Miami, former Navy pilot Will Slattery (Richard Widmark) flies a small commercial plane for candy manufacturer R. J. Milne, unaware that Milne is a drug smuggler on the side. Will's girlfriend, Dolores (Veronica Lake), also works for Milne and attempts to warn Will about Milne's activities. Having run into his former love interest, Aggie (Linda Darnell), who is married to friend and weather pilot Hobby Hobson, Will is distracted -- then unwittingly finds himself trapped in a drug delivery.
