Jake Wilson The Age (Australia) The Hollywood Teen Titans Go! initially looks more progressive than its real-life counterpart - but the climax gives this a rather different spin. Rated: 3/5 Sep 18, 2018 Full Review Roxana Hadadi Chesapeake Family Magazine Teen Titans Go! To the Movies is simultaneously a send-up of superhero movies and an homage to them, a spinoff whose music is infectious and jokes are consistently funny. Rated: 4/5 Aug 17, 2018 Full Review Tara Brady Irish Times Appropriately super. Rated: 3/5 Aug 14, 2018 Full Review Don Shanahan Every Movie Has a Lesson "Teen Titans Go! To the Movies" shows how absurdity, ridiculousness, and irrationality can be exactly what is necessary to properly entertain. Rated: 4/5 Sep 4, 2023 Full Review Kate Boyle InSession Film While I don’t personally believe Teen Titans Go! To the Movies competes with the other animated films released so far this year, it’s fun to watch and I think fans of the show will definitely get a kick out of this movie. Rated: B- Mar 8, 2023 Full Review Jonathan Garcia Dynamic Duel Podcast Genuinely funny, but not necessarily endearing. ... Every emotional beat or opportunity to connect with these characters is undercut with a wacky joke, and without that anchor of emotional investment, the humor ends up being shallow. Synopsis It seems that all the major superheroes out there are starring in their own movies -- all but the Teen Titans. Robin is bound and determined to remedy that situation by becoming a star instead of a sidekick. With a few madcap ideas and a song in their hearts, the Teen Titans head to Hollywood to fulfill their dreams. Things soon go awry, however, when a supervillain plans to take over the planet -- putting the very fate of the young heroes on the line.
