Audience Member I really think Shameless UK & US both are not just amazing. In my opinion know matter what happens in an episode and how inappropriate some people can say it is, it always has a message in it. Usually positive. It is about real life situations that a lot of people don't acknowledge. The dysfunctional family, drugs, Lgbq, & other real life issues. My favorite thing about it is they put comedy into serious situations to lighten them up. Paul Abbot is genius. I think the UK version is well under rated & less talked about as the US version is the longest running show on Showtime. I know it's not a comparison, but make sure to not judge a book by its cover and miss this one. I think people of all ages ( not children ) can all relate to certain situations in it and or know someone similar to one of the characters.
