Inkoo Kang New Yorker A remarkable new period drama...the supporting cast is nearly as strong, though the time-line hopping and the old-age makeup don’t always work to their advantage... Jan 26, 2024 Full Review Stef Rubino Autostraddle For a storyline so imbued with the politics of each era, the series does nothing to truly contend, question, or reckon with them. Dec 20, 2023 Full Review Hugo Rifkind Times (UK) This is not just some Beltway Brokeback Mountain. Hawk is a rich and deep character, not actually that nice, predatory in both his sexuality and his careerism. Nov 3, 2023 Full Review Alex Valencia Q+ Magazine Fellow Travelers emerges as one of the best mini-series released this year, anchored not only by its powerful and moving story but also by the remarkable chemistry between Bomer and Bailey. Jul 18, 2024 Full Review Brian Bromberger Bay Area Reporter With all its inconsistencies, "Fellow Travelers" is easily in the top ten of television's most memorable queer limited series. Apr 10, 2024 Full Review Juan Pablo Russo EscribiendoCine While limited in its execution, Fellow Travelers stands out thanks to its intrepid exploration of fundamental themes and its ability to courageously personify the story. Steph H Such a brilliant series. A must see. Just amazing! Such a brilliant story and standout performances from the cast especially Matt Bomer and Jonathan Bailey! I would recommend this to everyone! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 08/28/24 Full Review Anita L Stunning. Intelligent. Riveting. Important. Raw. Real. (And lots of gorgeous men!) It's a show that gets even better with multiple viewings. The novel and series have many differences, and, for once, it didn't bother me at all. While I liked some things better in the novel (which I read AFTER), I understood and respected the differences. Disappointed this didn't receive Emmy nods for best Limited Series, but rooting for the categories it did get honored in. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 08/24/24 Full Review Geoffrey H The progress and flow of the story were slow yet enjoyable. It made you feel the ambiance of that era, showcasing the two side of struggle between Tim and Hawk. It evoked empathy for how they viewed their lives, passions, work, and most of all, their deep love. The pain, frustration, and desperation were all there, culminating in a beautifully poignant ending that leaves a void in your heart. My only criticism is that it is quite vulgar at times, but it is manageable since it depicts the complexity of their relationship in that era. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 08/08/24 Full Review Tom F Moments of brutal honesty make this powerful if sometimes difficult to watch. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 07/10/24 Full Review Will C Top notch acting and story telling! Didn’t regret a second thank you for this to all involved it was an important story to tell Rated 5 out of 5 stars 04/30/24 Full Review Kerstin G The series is without a doubt well made. But it was too long-winded for me. And I don't like Hawk's character, so I don't suffer that much, although Matt Bomer and Jonathan Bailey both play very well, I don't always buy the connection between their characters.
