Richard Roeper Chicago Sun-Times At times the focus shifts to some of his business partners, who are NOT multi-millionaires and in some cases are risking everything to keep their interests afloat...that's when Wahl Street hits home. Rated: 3/4 Apr 16, 2021 Full Review Al Alexander The Patriot Ledger There are myriad reasons not to invest in "Wahl Street," with the main gripes being the docu-series is dumb, dull and brimming with self-congratulatory boasting by one Mark Wahlberg. Rated: D+ Apr 18, 2021 Full Review Laura Bradley The Daily Beast A vanity project on steroids...come for the condescending business tips, and stay for all that grunt-filled workout footage. Apr 16, 2021 Full Review Anne Brodie What She Said His is a busy life, and he's a sweet guy, but I'm not sure six eppies of his business problems and wealth is for me. Apr 16, 2021 Full Review Joel Keller Decider There is a part of us that's itching to see how someone who was riding high - and already stretched super thin - deals with the massive ramifications of a worldwide pandemic. Audience Member Loved it! Surprised that I loved it so much. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Audience Member Mark is a guy who was dirt poor started rapping, then acting and know has around 10 separate business ventures. For me it is very interesting to see someone who could very well be me navigating success. It is inspiring. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Audience Member Cool insight into Mark's business ventures at the start; shows the struggle of the pandemic in the later episodes. Seeing normal people Mark has partnered with doing anything to stay afloat during the pandemic is what makes the show. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Audience Member I enjoyed seeing his many business adventures and I disagree about the negative criticism saying it offered no real insight into Marks life. I feel like it was very personal at times and how far he does stretch himself to make a difference in people's lives. He has money from acting...he chooses to be an entrepreneur and offer so many others jobs and healthier lifestyles and alternative products. The Wahlberg around are just stand up people and Alma is an angel and I'm sure is sooo proud of her family! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Audience Member Boring. Condescending. Pointless. The unintentional comedy of this Wahlberg promo reel is the only redeeming thing about it. Spoiler alert: Mark Wahlberg is bad at business.
