Tucked between spectacular landmarks, the Milnerton Golf Club provides elegant apex views of Cape Town and Table Mountain, Robben Island and the Rietvlei Conservation Area. In fact, just ten minutes north of the city bowl, the Milnerton golf club, on a clear day, is one the most the most visually beautiful and unique courses in South Africa.

With relatively few trees, one of the courses treasures is the Atlantic Ocean that lies in wait, together with the lagoon, to claim the balls of the golfers wayward hooks and sprays. The sound of the crashing waves drowns out other distractions and provides a sense of calm focus allowing to you drive, putt and wedge yourself into histories oldest and noble game.

The course is a Par 72 has 18 holes and is typical of the links-style course. After your initial nine the halfway house is a great place to have a light meal before venturing out to finish your quest. After your round you can enjoy your reward by spending a while in the clubs five star lounge which is mere steps off the beach.

Sunsets are spectacular along this magnificent stretch of coast; so why not spend them with us? Perhaps you will be lucky enough to catch the swooping �table cloth� coming across the mountain all the while being protected from the notorious "Cape Doctor" south easterly wind.

Visitors will be please to know that play here is open to the public. However, it is highly recommended that you book your hotel or accommodation in Cape Town and your tee-off times ahead to avoid disappointment.

The club has played regular host to PGA events, including the South African Open, and its full set of facilities are of the standard you would expect at a first class course.

Appropriate golf attire is required. No handicap required unless you are entering a competition.
