About Feed an Elephant

Have you ever had you hand in an Elephants mouth? Well here is your chance. Visit the Garden Route Game Lodge for a unique experience that you will cherish forever.

Get up close and personal with an African elephant and allow the game ranger to share interesting facts and amazing information about these majestic animals.

Feeding will take place in a secure area with game rangers on hand. Grab a bucket of pellets and enjoy watching the elephants chomp away on some of their favourite treats. There is nothing quite like the adrenaline rush you get when you hold your arm out, hand filled with pellets to the largest creature you could ever imagine standing in front of and watch it open its mouth and close it around your hand to get every pellet in your clutch.

They are so gentle when they interact with you and after the first time you feed them, you will be itching to get your hand in their mouth again! Meeting Selati and Kidibone is a great feeling, make sure you stroke them and get your picture taken with them too.
