The calm waters of the Island Beach are ideal for kids who enjoy the water. Located at the south end of the Great Brak River estuary is this gorgeous beach that is accessed from the mainland via a single lane bridge.

Both locals and visitors to Island beach enjoy setting up a picnic lunch and settling into a great beach day. If you�re up for a braai this is a beach that allows braaing (bbq), so enjoy the sounds of the waves crashing in between the sounds of boerewors sizzling on the braai.
