Visit uBuntu Kraal Brewery in Soweto, Gauteng (original) (raw)

About Visit uBuntu Kraal Brewery

MadMead Brewery launched Soweto Gold lager and opened the uBuntu Kraal Brewery in Soweto to bring the beer back home to its roots and to commemorate 20 years of freedom and democracy.

The beer brewing process is traditionally an African craft undertaken by female family members. It is MadMeads aim to revive this tradition by training only female master brewers. Soweto Gold was named the top 10 craft beer in South Africa and is certainly worth a visit to the brewery for a sample.

Come and visit the Soweto Gold Beer garden at the uBuntu Kraal Brewery and sample a number of fabulous craft beers and learn more about the beer making process. This is a great afternoon out and something that should be experienced by everyone.
