About Clansthal Beach

You will find the little Clansthal Beach approximately 40km from the city of Durban and in between the towns of Scottburgh and Umkomaas.

This is a fairly secluded beach so you won�t be swamped with tourists, but you also won�t have plenty of facilities either. Clansthal Beach is used predominantly by locals and you may find a fisherman or two dotted along the coastline.

This is a good beach for a long walk, but swimming isn�t advisable as there are no life guards on duty.
