About De Wildt 4x4 Trail

In the Northern Slopes of Magaliesberg between Brits, Haartbeespoort Dam and Pretoria North is De Wildt, the best place for a fantastic 4x4 experience and a great weekend. No guidance is needed along this circular trail. There are 3 additional loops you can add to the trail to make your drive more exciting and challenging. Enjoy ramping up and down steps, rock slabs, over loose rocks, sand, though mud and crossing water.

You can 4x4 here at any time of the year but more caution should be taken after it has been raining. If you plan on spending the weekend, bring your tent or caravan and take advantage of the camp facilities on hand. There is a picnic area, sports bar, and pool available for your enjoyment.

Game and a variety of birds can be spotted from here so bring your binoculars and camera to capture the moment. If you are not up for getting in the 4x4, why not get on your bike for a ride, take a hike or enjoy a swim.
