The Cedarberg Mountain Range in the Western Cape is simply exquisite, emitting a mysterious beauty and allure all its own. The magnificence of this huge range is breath-taking, and continues to draw visitors from all over the world. The hiking trail to Lot�s Wife and Window Rocks showcases some of this pristine scenery, allowing locals and visitors to immerse themselves in this beauty.
The trail to Window Rocks is easy to manage and well signposted. It takes between one and 1.5 hours to complete, making it short enough for a morning outing before lunch. The map and the permit that is required can be obtained from the Dwarsrivier Farm or Algeria Forest Station.
