This estate was originally part of the Constantia Estate, an estate founded by Simon van der Stel who was the first Governor of the new Dutch colony.
You'll find the estate nestled in the heart of the Constantia Valley in one of the most beautiful settings. Drive up the oak-lined avenue and find a modern cellar complimenting the orginal buildings that are steeped in history.
If you're able to book a table at the extremely popular restaurant then do so, because the food is absolutely delectable. Make sure you set aside enough time for the wine tasting because the area is cool and gorgeous with wines to match.
