About Lethabo Lodge

Set in the scenic Waterberg Mountains lies the small Bushveld town of Modimolle (previously named Nylstroom). Here, in the heart of the Bushveld on a 32 hectare farm, is Lethabo Lodge, a series of self-catering cottages 14 kilometres outside the town on the R101.

Lethabo Lodge is an easy 90 minute drive from Pretoria and 2 � hour drive from Johannesburg. As soon as guests turn off the R101, they start to unwind. The farm also features a country pool, two farm dams and surrounding gardens.

Self Catering Accommodation

Lethabo Lodge caters to couples, families, or groups of friends looking for a tranquil retreat in the bushveld. Guests can choose two, eight sleeper chalets. Each chalet features cozy beds, and the bathrooms provide either bath or shower amenities. Each has a fully equipped kitchen for self-catering convenience, along with private braai facilities.

TAKE NOTE

Lethabo Lodge is located in a bushveld surrounded by various free-roaming small game and cattle. Guests are cautioned not to interact with these animals. Although our units are kept free from insects, guests are advised that they may appear around our cottages because of our location.

Access to Lethabo Lodge is via an 8km dirt road. The self-catering units are located at various positions on the farm and are also accessible via dirt roads. There is no cell phone signal at Lethabo Lodge.

We do allow children but take note that access to certain units is via a large staircase without a railing. Parents are warned to please not let their children roam around the property without supervision as we also have ponds and rock formations that are not safe for children.
