Cape Chestnut is a beautiful holiday home in Hermanus, an area well known for its scenic walking routes, cliff paths, beaches and whale watching. Other attractions include the Fernkloof Nature Reserve as well as Hamilton Russell Vineyards.

Self Catering Accommodation

Cape Chestnut offers accommodation in Hermanus for ten guests in four bedrooms. The main bedroom is furnished with a Queen-size bed.

The second and third bedrooms are each furnished with a double bed and share two bathrooms that are fitted with a bath, shower, toilet and basin. There is also a guest toilet. The fourth bedroom is furnished with two Queen-size beds and has an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower, toilet and basin.

The main living area is open-plan, a beautiful design which incorporates a kitchen, dining and living area. The kitchen is fully equipped with a six plate gas stove, electric oven, microwave, coffee machine, fridge-freezer, dishwasher, cutlery, crockery and glassware. Also included is a washing machine and a tumble dryer.

Leading off from the kitchen is a spacious and warm lounge which is comfortably furnished and includes a fireplace and a TV with a full selection of DStv channels. Free Wi-Fi is available. Meals can be enjoyed at the dining table.

A furnished, covered patio boasts distant ocean views and on the downstairs level of the home is a garden with an outdoor shower as well as an outdoor dining table and braai facilities.

Activities and Attractions

The property is located a few minutes from Langbaai, Kammabaai and Voelklip Beaches and is just a five minute drive from Hermanus Golf Club and 15 minutes drive from the Hemel & Aarde Wine Valley. Other attractions include the Hermanus Cliff Path, Grotto Beach, Fernkloof Nature Reserve, Hermanus Country Market and the Sumaridge Wine Estate.
