Casa d'Italo House is a property for self catering in Stanford for up to 10 guests visiting the Cape Overberg region.

Casa d'Italo offers guests relaxing self-catering accommodation in Stanford in a tranquil paradise surrounded by a private fynbos nature reserve. Here guests can enjoy the partial ocean view and explore the hiking trails, watch the sunset from the deck with a glass of wine, or simply relax.

Self Catering Accommodation

Casa d'Italo has five bedrooms furnished with King-size and twin beds. There are three bathrooms. One bathroom is en-suite and fitted with a shower, toilet and basin. The other two bathrooms are fitted with a bath, shower, toilet and basin.

The modern, open-plan kitchen is equipped with a stove and oven, microwave, and fridge and meals can be enjoyed at the dining table. Guests can relax in the sunny living room which boasts a wide selection of books and board games and a TV with selected DStv.

The living area opens onto an enclosed entertainment area with a built-in braai, dining area, table tennis and darts and Wi-Fi is available.

At Casa d'Italo guests can enjoy the glorious night skies, with more stars that you've seen in a long time, ideal to escape, relax and unwind.

The property is primarily powered by solar energy, but in the event that there is not enough power, a generator can be used to top up the batteries. However, please note that the generator will only be run during the day to minimize noise and environmental impact. The water on our property comes from a borehole and rainwater.

Pets

Well-behaved pets are welcome with prior arrangement. Owners need to please clean up after their pets. Pets may not be left alone in the unit or on the property. No pets are allowed on furniture or sleeping in/on the beds and owners need to bring their own bedding and feeding bowls and food. Please note, the owners have pet(s) on the premises.

The nearby town of Stanford, located just 20km from the farm, is a charming destination worth exploring. The town is known for its quaint shops and cafes, offering visitors a chance to browse handmade crafts, locally sourced produce, and artisanal products. One of the highlights of the town is its thriving wine industry, with several award-winning vineyards and wineries located in the surrounding area. Visitors can take a tour of the vineyards and sample some of the region's finest wines, from crisp Sauvignon Blanc to full-bodied Cabernet Sauvignon.
