Dieu Donne Cottage is a self-catering cottage located on a farm just off the Sani Pass Road, in Underberg. The cottage boasts spectacular valley and lake views, and is situated approximately 1 km from the Sani Pass Road that leads to an array of attractions and the Sani Pass Border.

Self Catering Accommodation

Dieu Donne Cottage is a thatched roof off-the-grid cottage with two bedrooms and one bathroom. The bedrooms are each furnished with King-size beds that can be converted to twin beds and a bunk bed. The shared bathroom is fitted with a shower, toilet and basin.

The cottage features a spacious fully equipped, open-plan kitchen, and a dining/living area with a fireplace.

The lounge leads out onto a covered patio with stunning lake / dam & mountain views. Braai facilities are available.

Free limited Wi-Fi, as well as secure parking is available on-site.

Attractions

The Sani Pass, also called the Roof of Africa, takes travellers along a spectacular 9km mountain road that snakes its way from the Drakensberg in South Africa, into Lesotho. Once at the summit of the pass, visitors can enjoy Maluti Beer from Lesotho at the Sani Top pub, the highest pub in South Africa at 2,874m.

The Drakensberg is a 200km mountain range and World Heritage Site. It covers three provinces, from the Eastern Cape to Mpumalanga, with the largest portion of the area falling in KwaZulu Natal. The Drakensberg Mountains are a wonderland of winter snow-capped peaks, waterfalls, rock art, and forests that ensure holidaymakers are spoiled with relentless scenic beauty.
