Serenity Du Bois Lodge is a property for self catering in Marloth Park for anyone visiting the Wild Frontier region.

Serenity Du Bois Lodge is a delightful thatched lodge situated in a 3000 ha reserve adjoining the Kruger National Park on the southern border (Crocodile River). Offering comfortable accommodation, the lodge is 15 minutes drive from the Crocodile Bridge Entrance gate; there is easy access to the Kruger National Park and although the Reserve itself is home to a wide variety of game, you can enjoy the sight of animals roaming around the Lodge.

Self Catering Accommodation

The Lodge can accommodate 14 persons. There are six en-suite air-conditioned rooms. Five of the rooms are two sleepers and the sixth is a family room which can sleep four guests. Mattresses can also be put down for children.

The Lodge functions as a self-catering facility with a communal kitchen which is fully equipped and there are braai facilities. Should you not want to cater for yourself, there are restaurants close by! Meals can also be arranged on request and with sufficient notice.

A splash pool provides refreshing relief during the warmer summer months! The lodge is close enough to the Panorama Route, Mozambique (Maputo) and Swaziland for day tours. Tours and safaris are offered by the Lodge.

Transfers can be arranged to and from the Lodge from KMIA (Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport or MQP), Johannesburg or Maputo.

Attractions and Activities

Activities in the area include: game viewing, bird watching, golf, miniature golf, tiger fishing, micro lite flights, elephant back safaris, horseback safaris, quad biking. As mentioned, we are situated in a reserve (Marloth Park Conservancy) and thus have game on the property.

The Reserve also adjoins Kruger Park along the Crocodile River (there is a fence separating the two) so a walk along the River is definitely recommended to give you a feeling of the bush. Guests regularly see giraffe, warthog, impala, bush buck, water buck, hippo, buffalo, rhino and elephant, amongst others, on these walks. Lion and leopard are even seen occasionally!

We look forward to welcoming you to our little piece of Paradise!
