Emhosheni River Lodge is a Balule hotel providing accommodation in 3 guest rooms for anyone visiting the Valley of the Olifants region.

Located on the northern banks of the Olifants River, in the Balule Nature Reserve, Emhosheni River Lodge offers tranquil Balule accommodation within 50km of Hoedspruit. Enjoy the sights, smells and sounds at the banks of the Olifants River while the animals roam freely around you.

The lodge offers guests the opportunity to become one with nature and experience serenity and silence while enjoying the comfort and luxury the lodge has to offer. Have a drink sitting on the private patio in front of your own secluded thatched rondawel while watching for animals.

Accommodation

Each traditionally constructed African Rondawel at Emhosheni River Lodge features a private deck or patio overlooking the Olifants River.

Our beds are comfortable and of such dimensions as to avoid cold feet for the individuals with an above average body length. The Rondawels all offer an en-suite bathroom with a shower. Some units are equipped with a bath and an additional outdoor shower. Each Rondawel has air conditioning, a safe, tea / coffee making facilities and a hairdryer.

The lodge features an outdoor swimming pool and free Wi-Fi in the public areas.

Although relaxing aside our pool while reading a book might be your choice, a variety of excursions, game drives, tours and other activities exist in the area. Open-vehicle game drives and bush walks through the reserve can be arranged at the property for a surcharge.
