Guesthouse Summerlight is a B&B with self catering option, providing accommodation in Somerset West for anyone visiting the Cape Helderberg region.

Guesthouse, Summerlight is well placed for trips to Cape Town - it takes approximately 20 minutes to the airport. It is surrounded by vineyards, golf courses and nature reserve within sight of the Atlantic Seaboard and Table Mountain.

Because of the central location, it is a perfect point to start for day trips, eg to visit the vineyards, Cape Town, maybe bike trips, play golf or to go to the beach. It is also well placed to have a short trip to the Western Cape or up the Garden Route.

Accommodation

Guesthouse Summerlight offers separate apartments, each with a fully equipped kitchen for self catering, moderns bathroom en-suite and off street parking. All rooms are furnished and decorated in unique style. All apartments and rooms have free Wi-Fi, a TV (DeuTV or DStv on request). All are in a 600m� house on a generous plot. The property is very quiet and has a beautiful garden with large pool.

In the lovely landscaped garden guests have all the possibility to relax and sunbathe on one of the numerous sun loungers. All guests enjoy the large pool, an indoor bush bar, sauna and barbecue area for leisurely evenings. Secure parking is available on site for four to six cars.

Laundry and cleaning service on request. Breakfast is on request or included. For relaxing, you are invited to use the pool in the garden, sauna and spa.

Activities

For shopping, there is the Somerset Mall and Waterstone Village, with many shops, markets and pharmacies. We also recommend restaurants and, if you wish we can make the reservation for you.

On request, we offer a transfer to / from the airport. We also can organize car rental; we have some of our own cars. Should you be interested in day trips, fishing or hunting, we will be willing to assist you in organizing them. We offer also a booking service for self driving trip.
