Accommodation

With a working rose nursery on the property, each of the cottages and guest rooms have been named after a rose. The cottages are surrounded by roses, lavender and lawn.

Self Catering Cottages
The spacious self catering cottages offer two large bedrooms (one with queen bed and one with twin beds) each with own en suite bathroom, separate toilet, fully equipped kitchen, lounge / dining room, TV (local channels) covered patio, braai, covered parking and are serviced daily.

Bed and Breakfast Units
The bed and breakfast units have either queen or twin beds, en suite bathroom (shower), bar fridge, tea and coffee facilities, own entrance off enclosed courtyard, secure parking. A full breakfast is served in the dining room of the main house.

Attractions & Activities

The on-site nursery is open to the public and guests are welcome to wonder through the nursery at their leisure or sit on the patio and enjoy the peace and tranquility.

Being on the border of the Cradle of Humankind, there are many interesting sites to visit. To name a few: Sterkfontein Caves, Maropeng, The Rhino & Lion Nature Reserve (which includes the Wonder Caves), The Lion Park, Gilroys Country Brewery (a micro brewery with outstanding beer) and Ngwenya Glass Village.

Other activities include horse riding, hot air ballooning, game drives and wellness centers and spas. Eating out offers a wide choice from top class restaurants to casual bistros.
