Kambaku Lodge offers Kruger Park accommodation at Elephant Point Estate. The estate takes its name from the elephant that can frequently be seen drinking and grazing on the banks of the mighty Sabie River.

This lodge is the realisation of a dream, built in a destination that embodies the spirit of this incredible continent and offers travellers from across the world the chance to discover a more meaningful safari experience.

Self Catering Accommodation

Kambaku Lodge is a self catering holiday home in Kruger Park sleeping eight guests. The fully air-conditioned spacious residence comprising of four bedrooms each furnished with a King-size bed. All the rooms boast private en-suite open plan bathrooms fitted with a bath, basin, toilet and outdoor shower. Each room has a private patio and full HD TV's with a full DStv bouquet.

There is a fully equipped kitchen with a scullery and a dining table where you can enjoy home prepared meals. The living area has plenty of comfortable seating, Free Wi-Fi and an Ultra HD TV, surround sound and satellite channels.

The large covered patio overlooks the swimming pool and has an outdoor lounge and dining area. There is a sunken boma and a gas braai.

The expansive outdoor living and entertaining space provides breath taking views overlooking the Sabie River and into the Kruger National Park.

Experience an open game vehicle African Safari in one of the world's most beautiful national parks. Elephant Point can arrange a game drive with a very reputable and professional operator. Well trained guides are at the beck and call of each client and are always prepared to go beyond the call of duty. They will share with you their vast knowledge of the bush as well as historical and indigenous experiences of the local communities.

Guests may enjoy a walk on one of our three self-guided walking trails. Choose between Kruger Park Lodge, Skukuza or Sabi River Sun.

The Area

Elephant Point is situated in a region renowned for its natural diversity and concentration of big game, and is undoubtedly one of the best game viewing areas in the Kruger National Park. In addition to elephants, you will see herds of buffalo, prides of lion, leopards and numerous antelope species.

Elephant Point borders the Kruger National Park and is also neighbour to the World famous and exclusive Sabi Sand Game Reserve. The estate is a 5 hour drive from Johannesburg or 60 minutes from the Mpumalanga Kruger airport following a 45-minute flight from Johannesburg.
