On Site Facilities

Guests have free access to the swimming pool at DAKTARI. We do not have a swimming pool at Kamoka Camp however you are more than welcome to take a dip at our partnered NGO's pool located only a 5 minute walk from us. The camp is run on solar power for lighting and also for the bore hole pump. While our primary focus is on eco-friendly alternatives, we understand the need for contingency plans. In rare cases when the sun might not shine as brightly, and solar energy may not be sufficient, we have a standby generator ready to step in.

Experience

You can also join the DAKTARI team for an exclusive evening around the fire, listening to fascinating stories. We take responsible tourism seriously, and that's why we offer a complimentary responsible activity per night. Choose from our 3 pillars: Nature, Culture, or Community and immerse yourself in a meaningful experience that will leave a lasting impact on you and the local community. Activities include guided nature walks, boundary patrols, snare sweeps and community interaction.
