Koedoeskloof Guesthouse is one of the Ladismith guest houses and provides accommodation in 4 guest rooms for anyone visiting the Karoo region.

Koedoeskloof is an owner-run guesthouse situated in the Dwarsrivier Valley, 9kms from Ladismith just off Route 62 in the Western Cape. The guesthouse is perfect for a one-night stop-over for guests travelling between cities or alternatively for a quiet weekend far away from the maddening crowds in a safe and peaceful environment.

Accommodation

The accommodation comprises 4 en-suite rooms, each have separate entrances, Rooms 1, 2 and 3 are connected to a shared veranda which forms part of the main house. Of the 4 rooms, 3 have twin beds that can be converted into a king-size bed, and en-suite bathrooms with a shower. Room 4 has a double bed and en-suite bathroom with a bath.

Other amenities include toiletries, ceiling fans, wall heaters, tea- and coffee-making facilities.

Dining

As our rooms do not have self-catering facilities guests can enjoy both dinner and breakfast in our onsite restaurant. We offer an English breakfast or health breakfast, or both, as well as our delicious homemade gourmet burgers for dinner. Other meals, aside from our famous burgers, are available, but need to be booked 24 hours in advance. Breakfast is served between 07h00 to 09h00 and dinner between 18h00 to 21h00. Kitchen closes at 8pm. Our restaurant, braai area and lapa is fully licensed.

Koedoeskloof is ideally located in an area that is easily accessible by car or motorcycle, and is the perfect destination for exploring the Klein Karoo region.

There are also various self-drive options including Seweweekspoort with its towering rock formations and diversity of fauna and flora; the vast Vleiland/ Rouxpos loop with quant pubs and farmstalls on route; the Hoeko, Voorbaat and Winkelplaas valleys with ambling roads through farmlands and orchards.
