Kruger Sunset Lodge is a highly recommended property for self catering in Mjejane Game Reserve for up to 10 guests visiting the Wild Frontier region.

Kruger Sunset Lodge offers exclusive use, self catering accommodation for a large group in the Mjejane Game Reserve which is part of the greater Kruger National Park.

From here you can enjoy magnificent sunsets and awesome views of the bush and the wildlife that frequent the area. Kudu, waterbuck, bushbuck, duiker and warthog are seen daily on the grounds of the lodge as are a variety of bird species.

Self Catering Accommodation

Kruger Sunset Lodge sleeps 10 guests in five en-suite bedrooms. Each room has an indoor shower, free standing bath and an outdoor shower. Linen and towels are provided. The rooms have large sliding doors and lovely views.

There is a spacious living are with a lounge and dining room as well as stacker doors leading out to a decked area where you can relax while looking out over the bushveld. The kitchen is modern and fully equipped for your self catering requirements.

Additional Facilities

There is a swimming pool with sun loungers and an upper viewing deck. The property has a lapa and fire pit right on the fence boundary.

Cool off under the marula trees outside and watch elephants feeding in the plains ahead. On occasion hunting lions have been spotted from the lapa.

Wildlife Experience

We offer full-day game drives in Kruger National Park including the opportunity to browse through the rest camp shops for interesting local fare. We typically visit two different camps during a whole day drive. Drives are in open safari vehicles well suited for game viewing, your guide is experienced, qualified and knowledgeable. Kruger is vast covering around 2 000 000 hectors but you will be pleasantly surprised at the frequency and variety of game spotted.

There is no fence between Mjejane Game reserve and the Kruger National Park we share the Crocodile River. Animals move freely and naturally between KNP and Mjejane. The safari's inside Mjejane Game Reserve last for an average of 3 hours. There are no tar roads, this guaranties the ultimate bush experience. Sundowner and coffee stops in the bush add that mystical touch!
